The Lone/Remote Workers and Personal
Security course provides an overview of the risks faced by many of your
employees on a day-to-day basis and a better understanding of
the potentially vulnerable situations they
are regularly exposed to.
A lone or remote worker may operate in
a diverse range of job functions. When working alone it is vitally important
that you plan ahead and take simple steps to keep safe and avoid potentially
difficult situations. It is also important to ensure other people and
colleagues, who may be concerned about your personal welfare and wellbeing, know
where you are going on business and when you are due to return.

is this training for?
Whether you are a
sales representative visiting clients, a van driver delivering parcels, a
nurse, doctor or carer providing home visits, or simply a home-based worker,
this course will help you avoid being exposed to risk or put into any dangerous
situations.

does the course cover?
The course aids you
through your working day, such as what to look out for when travelling in
unfamiliar areas or staying away on business. It uses various techniques to
ensure you avoid being put into any added or avoidable danger or risk.

and Certification
At the end of the
course you will be given a test of 20 multiple choice questions. The required
pass rate is 85%.
You will be able to
download and print (if required) a digital certificate on completion of the
course.
